2 and 4 Homerton High Street, Hackney, London, E9 6JQ

Back by popular demand, OperaUpClose presents their new one-woman opera With a Song in Her Heart, at Hackney’s Tudor gem, Sutton House.

Sutton House was built in 1535 by prominent courtier of Henry VIII, Sir Ralph Sadleir. The house retains much of the atmosphere of a Tudor home despite some alterations by later occupants, including a succession of merchants, Huguenot silkweavers, and 1980s squatters.

Tickets start from £17 (£10 for U26s) and include entry to Sutton House from 6.30pm, giving you up to an hour to wander freely around the glorious Tudor Manor before the performance. There will also be a pop-up bar in the Tudor Kitchen, so you could also just take this time to sip on something tasty and relax in their charming courtyard.

BAND A, £22
Ticket includes: an unreserved seat in BAND A (extra legroom and/or closer to the stage)

BAND B, £17

Concession ticket holders must be able to present valid ID to the box office.

There is an adapted toilet located on the ground floor of the building. Access to upper floors of the house is by staircase only. However, the performance will be in the Wenlock Barn, which is accessible for Wheelchair users.
